MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Grommet | Eyelet Curtains

Measure the width of the window and then add 5 inches to 10 inches on each side for the pole size . It is to clear the window when open, maximizing the light into the room. If you already have a pole up, measure the width of the pole not including the finials. The width of the curtain should be 2 to 2.5 times the width of the pole for the proper fullness.

For example, if your pole is 40 inches wide, for proper fullness you will need to order 40 x 2.5 times, that is 100 inches wide curtain. You can either order two curtains of 50 inches wide or one curtain that is 100 inches wide.

Measure the drop/length of the curtains from the top of the pole to the desired length and add 1.25 inches for the finished length.

Note: The inner diameter of grommets is usually 1 9/16’’. If you require 2’’of the grommets diameter, that is also available on order. For proper functioning of the grommets, the inside diameter needs to be 40% larger than the diameter of the pole.

Grommets are available in 2 colors Satin nickel and Bronze. By default we use Satin Nickel for all the Grommet / Eyelet heading style curtains. To opt for Bronze Grommets , you can write us at -contact@curtainavenue.com
